O Happy Happy Day

Guess what friends?????????

I have a recipe for fromage blanc.

More importantly, I have found the key ingredient, rennet tablets, to make the fromage blanc.

Now I never have to go to France ever again.

I know I'm no gourmet chef, but what are rennet tablets?

RENNET [rennet]: substance containing rennin, an enzyme having the property of clotting, or curdling, milk. It is used in the making of cheese and junket. Rennet is obtained from the stomachs of young mammals living on milk, especially from the inner lining of the fourth, or true, stomach (abomasum) of milk-fed calves.

Sounds yummy doesn't it??

Yes it's gross, but they grind up that stomach lining into a nice smooth tablet, so you'd never know.
